"Testing the Spirits"

• The three tests of true belief: obedience, love, and doctrine.
• The most dangerous form of worldliness is the repackaging of the doctrines of Christianity (and especially the Gospel) to suit the prevailing sensibilities of the current culture.
• Every truth in the Gospel rests on the doctrine of the Incarnation. Get that wrong, and everything else goes wrong.
• Genuine belief in true doctrine changes one's life, root and branch.
• Let us never enter into an acquaintance without the intention of telling them about the Gospel.
