• The end is the meaning of the beginning and the middle. Everything that comes before leads to the end.
• The dead will participate in Christ's second coming just as much as the living.
• Nothing so concentrates our life as a focus on its end.
• If the Second Coming be true, what becomes of the idea of man as his own judge and master?
