Sermon: "Elders"

• The children are a test of a man's life and faith.


• This is a description of all church officers and not just elders.


• Our lives speak more powerfully of Christ many times than our words.

The generations crest and fall

And leave their mark upon the shore.

The froth and foam of man's great life

Recedes and then is seen no more.

The roaring sea at God's behest

Shall come at last to final rest.

Those streams that flowed by God's own grace

The tide shall bring to see His face.
